2 mile run, 22 mile bike, 2 mile run = a whole lot of fun!

Northern Grrrls is about having fun and challenging yourself to set and reach new goals. In 2012 there were 6 grrrls who trained for the Iron Girl – Bloomington duathlon.  In 2013 we plan to have 12 grrrls or more attend the event!

The 2012 Whistlestop Marathon takes place every October and is another event for which many of the Northern Grrrls are training for! The summer months also brought a whole lot of fun and smiles during the Chequamegon Bay Sprint Triathlon. This fun hometown event features a 500 meter swim, 15 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. It is a great distance for those ladies who want to just “TRI” it!

2013 Northern Grrrl Goals

For 2013, the Northern Grrrls have submitted their personal goals and been placed into peer teams. The teams are established and can be found on the Northern Grrrls Facebook page. Each week the teams will receive tips and activities that they can use to help move them toward meeting their goal(s)!
